I’m honored to be part of the International Plein Air Live faculty again this year. My presentation will be on “Beginner’s Day”, March 9th. My assignment is to get you all going in the right direction and help you avoid beginner mistakes. I’m looking forward to helping you. One of the things I constantly hear from beginners is that they struggle with discerning a color’s value. I will not only help you with that but will demonstrate how to overcome that difficulty. Other topics include: 1) Appreciating the Value of Values. 2) Understanding Aerial Perspective. 3) Benefiting from a Limited Palette. I encourage you to come join me.
