Southwest Gallery in Dallas hosted their annual Summer Art Festival over the weekend, 6-7 August 2016. There was a really nice turnout, particularly on Saturday. Eighteen artists were available to demonstrate their painting techniques, hob nob with their fans, collectors, other artists, while also able to make new acquaintances. It was a lively weekend of activity with live music, food, and great conversation. I was unable to do much painting as I spent most all the time shaking hands and enjoying conversation with those in attendance.
