Transition Series: Overgrown (Autumn)

I’ve created a “Transition Series” of paintings, all done first using black/white acrylic paint. A section of each painting was then painted using color. The result is both surprising and appealing. Each painting clearly demonstrates that value (light/dark patterns) determine a painting’s mood…not color. Color only enhances the mood.
