After a Heavy Rain

The sky is beginning to clear after a couple of days of heavy rain, which has left the fields waterlogged. It reminds me of a time. after such a rain in our area, that I had to go to our barn for something and I heard my name being called. Looking to the property behind our house next to his metal barn, I saw Mr. Monroe, up in years, sitting on the muddy ground after falling, trying to get up after getting stuck in the mud. Putting my arms under his, we were able to get him back on his feet.
