“Be Still My Soul” has been awarded the Silver Medal at the Oil Painters of America “27th Annual National Juried Exhibition of Traditional Oils”, held at the Steamboat Art Museum in Steamboat Springs, CO. There were more than 2000 entries with about one-tenth of those selected for the exhibition. The exhibition runs through September 3rd. It’s a great honor to receive this prestigious award. Thank you to award juror, Craig Tennant.

The goal of OPA is to preserve and promote excellence in representational art. OPA’s primary mission is to advance the cause of traditional, representational fine art by drawing attention to the lasting value of fine drawing, color, composition and the appreciation of light.
