JOHN POTOTSCHNIK FINE ART

New video; new gallery

It’s been a long time in coming, but the final editing for Create Unlimited Color with a Limited Palette is almost complete. I’ve learned that the release date is the 17th of November.

My first DVD with Liliedahl Fine Art Videos, Limited Palette Landscapes, continues to be a best seller. It is 15 hours of very thorough instruction, explaining my whole painting process, from selection of the canvas to the final brush stroke. If you haven’t picked that one up, I encourage you to do so, because that DVD along with this one encompasses what I taught in my workshops for most of my teaching career. You may purchase Limited Palette Landscapes HERE

While Limited Palette Landscapes gave some instruction on color, Create Unlimited Color with a Limited Palette presents a very thorough, concise and comprehensive teaching about the subject. Not only do I create six totally unique demonstration color studies using various parts of the color wheel, but I back everything up with copious visual examples. In this video you will learn:

*The benefits of using a three-primary palette

*Major divisions of the color wheel

*How to mix a color wheel with all its secondary and tertiary colors

*How to choose the appropriate palette for any given painting

*Three techniques that affect the overall color mood of your painting

*Guaranteed ways to achieve color harmony

….and, much, much more.

….BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE…

Streamline Publishing will be publishing a book, Limited Palette, Unlimited Color, as a companion piece to this DVD. The 96-page book goes into extreme detail about the way I think about and use color in my paintings. I am convinced it is going to quickly become a best seller because it addresses every problem many painting students struggle with concerning color. Please watch this space for more specific details concerning these must have additions to your video and book library. You may sign up for a pre-release discount for the video HERE.
